Parents are being urged not to give their children certain Kinder Surprise chocolate eggs due to the possible presence of salmonella.
The UK's Food Standards Agency (FSA) said the eggs have a "potential link to a salmonella outbreak" where 57 cases have been found, with just over three quarters of those being children aged five or younger.

This surely means it's been going on months without being noticed or even worse being noticed and nothing done about it. Absolutely disgusting.
AFAIK, just the small versions. Unless anything changes
Hopefully not many children have suffered.
Not the Kinder suprise anyone should have.
My son (9) has volunteered to happily take the toys off your hands.
Kind Regards
They're for you really aren't they

This is such a good point.
I agree, that is a massive range of dates, and would suggest that the chocolate has been coming into contact with salmonella unnoticed for 3 months 😬
I mean I'll probably eat it anyway,...
Ssshhh ️
Probably because there have only been a small number of cases relative to the amount of eggs sold. If there are only 1 or 2 cases it's not (statistically) significant enough to be noticed but now there have been about 50 it has been. The first date would relate to the first case noted I imagine hence the range.
Impossible to say.
No just standard size
Took me a second
Very droll sir
May have taken that long for an outbreak of salmonella poisoning to be detected and tracked back to its source.
I doubt they did a cadburys:- herefordtimes.com/new…pe/
The word toy is doing a lot of heavy lifting there
