Everybody has different criteria for what makes a mattress comfortable, so only you know what will be right for you. We went to Dreams to try out their large selection, but then Googled and found the same mattress massively cheaper elsewhere. They have a policy of buying in such bulk that the manufacturers stitch on labels with different names for the same mattress you can get elsewhere. Ours was called 'Cairo' in their showroom, but to every other retailer it was the 'Backcare Ultimate 2000'. If you do look there, make sure you write down the entire spec (spring type, spring number, materials, memory foam etc) so you can find the generic equivalent from a more realistically priced retailer. We got ours from for £385 (inc Quidco) delivered with a 5yr warranty, whereas at Dreams it would have been £1150 (their RRP) plus £35 delivery, plus £40 for a 4yr warranty. It was reduced (of course) to £950 in their sale, and the bod offered us it if we bought there'n'then for £850. Dreams ? Bloody nightmares !
