Kitchen Aid - Artisan Mixer -- help!

Hey All,
I wondered if I could tap into your collective knowledge on Kitchen Aid Artisan Mixers.
The wife would like one but I really have no clue.
I see there are Classics (which seem cheaper) and the Artisan models but not sure what the difference is or what difference this makes in day to day use.

Also, anyone seen any good deals. Curry's seems to be the cheapest I could find.

Thanks in advance!

Glass bowl I think and choice of colours.

Unless you are bothered by colour then the Classic is the way to go, much cheaper, has all the same features but a .5lt smaller bowl, still plenty big though. Both are great.

Buy the Artisan from hobbycraft as better machine. Bigger motor. They were doing 15% off if you sign up for emails. Also click hobbycraft link on.. top cash back discount site. Enter the code from hobbycraft email you received from email sign up. That will give you further discount. That was in December so hope offer still on. Think that takes a new machine to £325 ish

Good information - thanks, but cannot seem to see them on the HobbyCraft site at all now

Sorry. I should of looked first. The post I followed is expired however but I was lucky enough to get for wife's Christmas present. Old link.... hotukdeals.com/dea…455 I think your best bet is to set up an alert here on hukd and wait if you can as they do come up.
