Know any good place/hotel to stay in Jersey?

    Hi all,

I hope you will be able to help me in this.
Me and my partner is planing to go to Jersey in March 19th for 3 days. I was wondering if any of you know a good place to stay. I've been contacted by a travel agent quotating £506 for 3 nights( you need to pay extra if you want to breath! ), flight, hotel and car hire included. They dont mentioned about what car they will hire for us and the hotel they planing to book us in has no room pictures on their web site. Just a picture of lobby, which made me think the hotel is actually crap as otherwise it would have show the rooms photos as well.

    Thanks in advance.

    where have they suggested ?

if you look on expedia / lastminute you can usually get a good deal on somewhere to stay.

Car hire is quite cheap - the island is only 9 miles by 5 so you can't use too much petrol.

There are posh places like the Grand and L'Horizon - but there are other nice hotels at a decent price.

The hotels they are planing to book us in are Embassador and Radisson. Radisson is £620 again they dont mentioned about the cars etc. I think it is expensive for 3 nights stay.

Hotel de France is quite nice - we stayed there as a family last year - as the name suggests though it is French...

the Radisson is new - been open about 2 years and is on the waterfront - its nice - but a big hotel, depends what you want.

Everything in St Helier is easy to walk too - you might find you don't want a car for the whole time you are there.

The Hotel Ambassadeur is further along the coast - but only about a 15 minute walk. Not as nice as the Radisson though.

    Thank you for your responses.

We now have changed our minds and will wait if we can find a good deal on here:)

I always though instead of keeping the rooms empty why dont they offer a good deal so they can keep the business going? They can charge the full price in summer, i can understand as obviously the weather is nice and have alot to do. But when is winter why not reduce the prices?

I used to stay at St. Brelades Bay hotel when I went. Was really nice, not sure on the price nowadays now though
