Ladies,jewellery advice please

    Hello peeps

looking for some advice from the female members on the forum(and the blokes)

looking to get my wife something,a ring or a necklace and i want to spend about £200.

Anyone know any good reliable jewellers who do good unique products but wont cost a arm and a leg.

Whats the difference between white gold and normal gold?

I am going to go to a few jewellers over the wekend with some of my wifes stuff so they can see the taste of my wife in jewellery and I can look at few things in my price range.

but any additional advice from you guys is most welcome.

    Thanks for looking.

If not too far I would say the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter there are loads of independant shops who will make you virtually anything, and are always open to negotiation on the price.

Cant go wrong with Links of London as its a real quality name- especially their charm bracelet
    Links Heart Disc charm Bracelet
Costs £150 (cheaper alternatives available) but it means that future birthdays/xmas you can buy extra charms! Also depending where you live they have an outlet at Bicester Village in Oxfordshire

Maybe look at the Pandora charm bracelets.

If i was you i would go to an asian jewellers that do 22ct gold, reason been is you can ask for any design to be made however you like which im sure your wife would love as its that little more personal, try to not get anything with too much stones in because this brings the price down if you ever wanted to sell it back, 22ct is the nearest to pure gold, 24ct is purist but is very soft so will miss shape, bend easily, definatly bargain with them! & find out the gold prices per gram before/if you go as they sell by weight. hope this helps
