mmm i get the same with my nintendo ds, works everywhere but at home but everything else at home ie desktop laptop mobile phone nintendo wii printer all connect wirelessly no problem to my BT hub but the nintendo DS returns the same message your getting and ive never gotten to the bottom of it :-(

Hope u manage to get a fix as i know how annoying it is and I hope your laptop helpdesk is more helpful then Nintendo were as they were useless....

Have you put the WEP key from the hub onto the laptop?

Edit: If its a white one the key is stored under > Advanced>Wireless>Security

I have a feeling it may be on the back of the hub as well. Not sure about that though.

****** hope it wasnt that i tried it already, thought u had provided me with another avenue to go down i tried everything now then grrrrrrrrr

Have you changed the login details? if not...

    * Username: The default username is 'admin' (lowercase)
    * Password: The default password is either 'admin' (for software before v6.2.6E), or for later versions, the password is your unique Home Hub serial number (either on the sticker on the back or underneath the hub after the 'S/N:' bit).

Apart from that you could try google on how to perform a hard reset, which should then allow you to use the above login.

"relate" if they still exist can offer relationship advice and may help your lappy and bt hub to start "talking"

    hth!

As Shengis says, the keys is on the back of it, unless you changed it.

    Hope it helps
