    Laptop Advice Please

Hi. Hoping someone out there might be able to help us.

Looking to buy a fairly decent kind of laptop. Don't know an awful lot about this sort of thing but saw one that we thought looked ok and wondered if someone could have a look at it and let us know what they thought.

(Hope I've added the link ok.)

Cheers in advance by the way.

Hi thanks for replying. Going to show my ignorance - what's the difference between AMD and intel processor?

intel and amd are the manufacturer of th processor chip. amd is ok for desktop but on laptops nothing beats the core2duo

    RE: Laptop.

Why are you looking at a £400 laptop?
First question you need to ask is, what are you going to use it for?
You can pick up a decent laptop for a little over £100 these days.
If you're not going to be using for gaming a lower spec machine will save you a lot of money.
Also there are a lot of smaller netbook type laptops now coming down in price and the spec on some of them is very good.
Don't spend more than you need to.
    Good luck.
