Found 26th Nov 2017
my 16 year old has a desktop gaming pc but would like a laptop for christmas. he's just had his birthday so will put some money towards it to.
Ive not a clue what to be looking for? help please. i found a lenova one but looked at reviews and not very good.
It will be used for a 6 week 'pre college' course in USA then for 2 years college years. Before i guess will be needing to upgrade.
price up to £350 ideally.
Hit me with your recommendations...
Am i best waiting til xmas sales?

Not that many great deals out really.

If he wants one purely for college work I would go for one with an intel processor, if you think he would also want to game on it, I would go for an AMD processor as they tend to have better built in graphics cards at this price point.

So if he won't be gaming on it and your budget can stretch, something like this would be good:

m.johnlewis.com/hp-…=48

If he would want to game on it also, something like this would be best:

very.co.uk/hp-…wcB

Hope that helps

Peter.

And for me it’s the opposite for Samsung Asus is the best, and Samsung and HP being further down the list (HP is good but unreliable with laptops, I have found)
