Laptop RAM Upgrade

Found 19th Dec 2006

I've just bought a Toshiba Equium A110 laptop and www.crucial.com says it takes 200-pin PC2-4200 DDR SDRAM, the cheapest I've found some is £60 or so on eBay UK (for a 1GB stick - that's how much extra I reckon I need now I've installed Windows Vista (already got 512MB).

Can anyone find it cheaper?
Of course things like Latency timings, ECC come into it, but forget those details completely; I'll check that what you've recommended is ok; as long as its a single 1024MB (1GB) 200-pin DIMM of PC2-4200 (thats the standard) DDR SDRAM its probably suitable (and I'll know if its not - I know tech, just not bargain hunting!)

Well my advice is to buy decent memory like crucial...you get what you pay for..there is 7% quidco for crucial and you may find a discount in the voucher section.
