Laptop sound and speakers

hello all
We are looking for a laptop, but one thing we particularly want are decent onboard speakers. I have heard a Toshiba satellite A200, and it was pretty good, however other than that I don't really know what's good and what's not, and I'm not sure what I should be looking for. Obviously they will never be as good as external ones, but I would like the option of not having to always plug something in. Anyway, I would be really grateful for any thoughts/ experiences. We are thinking of going for a Dell, so any thoughts on speakers there would be great. Thanks very much in advance!

IIRC some of the the recent Acer Aspire laptops are supposed to have good sound. Some models have Dolby Home Theatre Virtual Surround Sound and a subwoofer built in.

]Here's a review of one for example.

I have a Dell XPS M1440 and the sound isn't great, it's not bad for a laptop but still, you wouldn't want to listen to much music on it.
