    Laptop Speakers

For some reason, my windows sounds seem like their struggling through the speakers?

I then test my laptop with audio on Youtube and some sound perfect, some have this struggling sound again?

I restart my laptop and everything is back to normal. But then after a while, the issue returns.

    Anything I can try? Thanks

Sound like a software fault. Try downloading the correct upto date drivers for soundcard id this does not work check in device manager to see if the drivers have recently been updated if so eill back to previous drivers. If all fails back up your files and re-install Windows

I tried to install new drivers, same issue.

It's mainly when I click the speaker icon, and turn the volume up that way, or close an application and get the alert sounds, the sound is like it's struggling.

Some youtube audio is fine, some isn't. It's really strange...

Going to go with a full fresh reinstallation if Windows.

I presume the Windows media creation tool will include the W10 anniversary update built in now?

You need to be a bit clearer on what the issue is.
You can play MP3's and other audio but only the system sounds are having problems ?
Is your sound distorted or does it sound like it's stuttering ?

If it's stuttering have a look at DPC latency.
