thanks, but will a 1.8Ghz processor be enough to run Windows 7?

Yes, because it is a Dual core, ie it runs 2 processors at the same time, and its running the 64bit version that will allow you to install more ram when you need to :-)

3GB ram and a decent sized hard drive. Last week they were £20 cheaper, but its still a good buy, and I think if you use quidco you can get 5% off

I run Win7 on a 2ghz Dual Core desktop that is about 2 years old, and its about 5 times faster than it ever was when it had Vista installed, so this will be great

if your just looking at surfing and playing music, the net book here hotukdeals.com/ite…ch-

This wil do just fine

:-D

a quick tip, Dell keep pestering you to upgrade your warranty. hang on until about 2 or 3 weeks before your 12 month are due to expire, they will give you a good price....that if you think you need the security
