Hi, i ordered a laptop from laptops direct and it arrived today - However when i opened the outer delivery packaging i realised its the wrong laptop - far worse than the one i ordered!

I phoned them up and they said that the only way to sort this out is for them to send a courior to pick it up tomorrow, they will recieve it on tuesday, inspect is for a day then send a new one on wednesday with 4 working day delivery.

Do you think i should demand they send me a new one for tomorrow and take this one back and then they can sort out the rest.

I say this as i need the laptop by tomorrow..

any responses much appreciated..

I dont think they will send you a new one the next day, they will need to make sure that the one you got was in fact the wrong one.

I would ask for some sort of compenstaion or voucher though.

At the end of the day you can demand what you like - they have the laptop you want - you have a laptop that you don't want.

In my opinion you're in a position to demand nothing; I would explain the situation in a polite manner and beg that they do everything possible to give you the very best customer experience.

well after waiting on the phone for absolutely ages i have arranged with them to pick up the product today and the manager is going to call back before 3pm today to arrange the replacement. It seems it might be possible for them to arrange me a delivery before tomorrow, but we'll see!!
