Laptops! HP Pavilion DV5-1111ea or Sony Vaio NS10J/S?

Hi,

I really need a new laptop, and i'm stuck between these two:

HP Pavilion DV5-1111ea
AMD Turion X2 RM-72 - 2.1 GHz
4GB RAM, 250GB HDD
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450 - 256 MB

Sony Vaio NS10J/S
Core 2 Duo T5800 - 2.0 GHz
3GB RAM, 250GB HDD
Onboard graphics

I want my laptop to last...and I won't be doing anything too intensive on it...
so having said that, HP or Sony?!

Any advice appreciated

Regards

Sony for me all the way.

i've had my vaio for about 4 years now and although its getting a bit slow now its never let me down. i honestly think they are a bit overpriced but they are one of the best looking laptops i think. sony all the way for me

sony's processor is better also it may have bluetooth

HP: turion is not as efficient as c2d but it has interestimng extras: remote control, extra 1 GB RAM, WeBCAM and built in card reader

i think i lean slightly towards HP although im a vaio user

Thanks for the input.

In terms of build quality and after sales support, would it be HP or Sony?

Sony - I just bought one and I am very happy. Traded a little bit of spec for great design and reliability.
