Flights to Las Vegas

At time of posting the current cheapest flights to Las Vegas are from London Heathrow with BA, which are direct outbound and 1 stop on the return. Prices range around £290 if booking via a third party travel agent such as Travelup or around £310 if you want to book directly at BA. Flights based on hand luggage, however BA has a decent 23kg hand luggage limit. Virgin typically have similar prices although seem quite high currently, which are hand luggage based on 10kg. Check for any discount codes on top for extra savings.

Accommodation

Accommodation - Resort fees

When booking any hotel accommodation or package deal for Las Vegas most hotels have mandatory resort fees, which are daily charges not included in the booking cost and payable directly to the hotel at the end of the stay. The resort fee is meant to give you access to additional services in the hotel, but you will need to check what this includes as varies by hotel. So whenever booking your holiday you need to factor this in. The below resort fee checker site gives an overview of daily charges and whats included for Vegas hotels.

Accommodation / Package Holidays in Las Vegas

BA and Virgin do some competitive package deals, which may work out better than booking flights separately and also includes checked luggage. There are various hotels located on the Vegas strip (which I believe most members prefer), ranging from 3* to 5*.

BA Holidays

5 night break including flights, checked luggage and 5 nights hotel stay in Jan from £380pp (plus resort fees). The holiday finder tool on the site is useful to see the different rates for different months, just filter on the left hand side.

Some of the traditional banks and bank account offers charge up to 3% of the transaction as well as other fees when spending abroad, so a fee free card can give you significant savings. Starling bank for example gives fee free spend abroad plus you can withdraw up to £300 a day without any charge. Current exchange rate is
