    Learning electric guitar

this has probably been discussed loads but i want to start learning the electric guitar and i was wondering if anyone could recommend me a starter set i could buy?

Defo try before you buy. Take someone along that knows what to look for. A guitar with crap action will put you off big time.

No. Generally speaking, Argos just doesn't sell high-quality specialist gear, and that guitar there is just a Chinese made cheapie that's designed to be the cheapest guitar that it can be, and not to be any good or anything. I think you're far better off going to your local Gumtree.com and having a look at what's on offer there. D'you want to tell us where you are, and I can link to a few currently-listed guitars that I'd recommend? There's bound to be something good available right now, and usually, for prices of about half the RRP.
