Also got slightly scuffed when being delivered and they sent someone out to fix it.

thanks for the feedback, I'm also looking at this option(just the 3 seater £799). I have plenty of time to get one but Im gonna get as much info over the next few weeks as possible as I dont get sofas that often the same as eveyone else i suspect !

we got a pair of sofas from dfs a few months ago and they are lush, Great service too. Plus they have a range of ways to pay. It is fun going and sitting on all the sofas too:-D

its bests to go into a shop where you can sit on it and try it out b4 u buy:thumbsup:

Personally would avoid DFS. Son worked there last summer. Basically they make very little money on the sofas they sell. Like Currys etc, (profit is from extended warranties) they get the profit from high pressure sales tactics, to get you to sign up to credit agreement and of course payment protection insurance.

One man came in with £1000 cash for a sofa. Manager intervened and got him to sign credit agreement. Final cost £2000, £350 of which was payment protection!

Agreed, you don't have to sign. But once you do, they make it very hard to cancel and even when customers came back a few hours later because they realised they paid more than they wanted...they are told it is too late. Legally in that situation the customers do not have a leg to stand on because you signed on their premises. He was told to hint a cooling off period, even though there is none.

I am sure most on HUKD members would not be as gullible where DFS are concerned. Probably some good deals to be had, if you manage to avoid the sales tactics though.
