Hi, Im Lee from Durham, England, UK (some people get confused with USA Durham) Im 24 & Male.

About where I live Durham, the most famous thing here, or what you may call the Tourist Attraction, is Durham Cathedral and so brings alot of visitors from all over the world interested in the Historical Aspect Durham Cathedral, over 900 years old.

Many people I meet who I mention Durham too, have never heard of it. I tell them it is close to Newcastle & Sunderland which gives them a better idea of the location. Therefore I do not want to advertise those places anymore than necessary lol.

Living & working in Durham, like many people you do not appreciate the things that are on your doorstep.

Places I have visited, & I have probably missed some out. The majority of these I have travelled to by myself. A group of them during a 5week Trip.

Australia - Sydney, Ayers Rock, Alice Springs, Cairns, Brisbane
Cozumel - Mexican Island
Dubai (twice)
Egypt - Luxor, Cairo (twice), Sharm El Sheik(twice)
France (Normandy & Paris)
Grand Cayman
Hong Kong
Koh Samui
Kuala Lumpur
Mexico - Tulum
New Orleans
Orlando Florida (twice)
Spain (Canaries & Balearic Islands)
Spain (Mainland)
Sri Lanka - Toured
The Gambia
Toronto - Canada ( I have a place near Durham called Toronto - Bishop Auckland, funny enough Quebec too)

Favourite Place - Australia - I visited here during my 5week trip, although was only in Oz for about 18days, 7days of which were in Sydney, one of my favourite Cities. Nobody ever has a bad word to say about Australia or the people, that speaks volumes.

In March 2006, Im going to New York for 1week & possibly somewhere else between now & then, unknown as yet, possibly Cape Town, depending on Cost. If anyone would like to donate money to my Travel fund, drop me a line

Without getting into too much detail as Im going to write a Thread about my two tripsf or a Winter Sun Destination, Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt is great and very good value for money.

Hobbies - Travel, Internet, Football

I work in Administration for local County Council, Ive completed a HNC in Computing, covering various aspects e.g Web Design, Programming, Networking, Building PCs etc. A field I would prefer to work in, if not mixing it in with a Travel related occupation

and how do you use it?
PS Also from County Durham (Crook, gateway to Weardale)
