Im looking for "left 4 dead" for PC I plan to play online so needs to be new. It's £27 on steam and £25 on amazon. Im thinking more on the lines of £20?? Or at least the cheapest price available.

I would avoid buying second hand as the key may have already been activated on someone else's steam account.

Try www.g2play.net it has the uncut version for € 18.

Only 9.99 EUR or $12.99 on G2Play.net for a Steam download. ]http//ww…tml

Seems to good to be true but I can vouch for them. I got Orange Box off there a few months ago and they sent the CD key within a few mins. You sign up to Steam, buy the CD key from g2play, they send it via email and you redeem it against your Steam account. Download the game and you're off!

edit: buy it in dollars, it works cheaper as the exchange rate is better atm

Hmm I see there's a cut and uncut version £7 and £14 respectively. Uncut seems good enough price. Also as im paying in Dollars will I be considered located in the US? can I play against people in the UK? I know people in the other thread have had it good and all fine. Thanks im installing a dodgy copy now to check if my computer can handle the game with all them zombies im not sure it can, I love the game on 360 I played with my friend would love to play it co-op, people still play the game right or am I wasting my time? the game might be getting dated.

also one more question can I just buy a cheap mic to communicate with other players or do I need to get some sort of special gaming headset?

Well I couldnt wait for a reply and bought it anyway, it's downloading all the files at the moment would benice to know about the headset before I go and get one of those as well.

I use a £5 mic + my headphones when I occasionally play games online. No problems at all. Obviously, if you spend top dollar on a gaming headset, the mic in it will sound nicer but it's not worth the money imo.

p.s. paying in $ won't matter. once you've installed it, you can play people from any country (the further away they are, the more lag you'll get though so i usually stick to UK/European servers)
