ive tried 'justanswer' (google it) which gave legal advice, i had to deposit £38 which i used paypal. But they only take the money once you get your answer which is within a day and your happy with it. Obv i didnt click it got my answer and my money back. But bare in mind getting the money back was missions, ive requested it 3 times still they do not reply in the end used paypal dispute and resolved. bare in mind they do give a good answer

replied to your pm.

let me present a scenario and see what people think about who is to blame.

im Driving down a Main road
other vehicle leaves a side road to join the main road
i try to avoid him by swerving out to the middle of the road and collide with him

edit. i hit the driver side wing of his car.

Unfortunately you are in the wrong, you should of basically stayed in your lane and simply crashed your car into his.

Dont stress about it, im assuming you have no witnesses?, if so follow the next advice.......

No witnesses- create a witness( a friend is the easiest way)

P.S. As a disclaimer i under no circumstances condone any illegal/fraudulent behaviour.

lol that is what happened. but i minimised the impact by moving away, so instead of geting him side on it was just a dent on the front wing.

Read my edited post for a simple conclusion.

Just report it to your insurers, they will sort it, ........... you do have insurance?

If like you say this is going to court, you need a legal representative.....if you go alone you will be a sitting duck.

Your home insurance may provide free legal advice. I know mine does, but only over the telephone with their own people - you can't see someone and then reclaim the expenses.

What's the problem here? As I understand it, the driver on the major road has right of way every time.

They can try to allocate percentage blame by saying you were driving over the speed limit or whatever, but even if you were that could not be proven and so would not be allowed as evidence.

I have used peppipoo forums in the past for rip off private parking fines

I found their advice very good, they have some legally qualified members on the forum. Saved me from paying £70 parking fines twice

is liability in dispute?
argue 50.50 if not, they may just pay your claim in full if your solicitors dont think you have a good case
