    Lenovo N22 chromebook

When you open the lid it automatically powers on the chromebook without hitting the on button, is this normal or do I need to exchange it for another one?

This is normal. Chromebooks by default get ready for use when you open the lid.

That is normal for a Chromebook. My Acer always turn on as soon as I open the lid.

When you open it, its handy that it switches on surely?

Yes. Even if it is fully powered off, it will boot up when you open the lid.
