LG TV Model LG 42LS345T power board

I have a LG TV Model 42LS345T which I bought thanks to HUKD a couple of years back.

The tv was not working now so opened it up and have narrowed it down to power board.

There is a black spot and a burnt out capacitor (i think that's what it is) which I have spotted on the board.

I am having trouble finding an exact match for my board, looking in ebay so was wondering if I change the capacitor thats burnt out will I be able to use the board again ?

I will include some pics to help identify what exactly has burnt out.

Generally, yes, you can just change the capacitor. That's assuming no other damage has been done to the board. Other damage caused by power irregularity may not be visible
As long as voltage is correct you can go up on farrads but not down from what I remember. I would be more concerned with why it burnt out. What is the cap used for ? smoothing or decoupling ?

Just seen your picture, what cap is bad ?

Completely agree with what japes says. I had a similar problem where I ended up replacing one capacitor, to then find I had to replace another part. I briefly got it powered through using a device to check voltage etc, but after a while I just gave up. Strangely enough it was an LG too.

Definitely give it a go, just a shame you can't find a replacement board.
I have no idea what the capacitor is used for but its the the one facing the back spot opposite the metal cooler. Better pic is the 6th pic.
Can I maybe try other places that might sell my board other than ebay? Any suggestions ?
Where can I but these kind of capacitors easily?

I can see now. check your bridge rectifier as a diode might of melted too. the ceramic **** is 330pf rated to 1kv? Might have temp rating on it too but I'm on my phone

Lol, I don't know what that all means.I just followed a YouTube video to open the tv and look at the power board. That's when I spotted the cap.

Depending how much you want the TV you might fine someone to repair the board for a cheap rate.

Thanks for the replies .. Do you know any other places where I might get the board cheaply ?

No idea, I would try to get it repaired 1st. I can't see anything specialised on the board so it should be a quick fix.

Thanks for the idea , seems like typing the pcb board number seems to bring up better/cheaper results for the board.
