We have booked Butlins through the Sun Holidays promotion and have not paid for the linens. Can someone who has been there please confirm that it's only the duvet covers/sheets and pillow-covers that we need to take, they still provide the duvets etc? Would be quite a lot to carry for the price saved if they don't provide duvets too

Any help appreciated.

Hi there -

Every sun holiday we've been on, we haven't paid for linens, and they provide duvets and pillows for all beds, you just have to take sheets, pillowcases and duvet cover. You'll also need towels and tea-towels etc as well. Think they've provided toilet roll each time, but I always take a roll in case. Hope that helps!

Hi not sure about the other butlins sites but last time I went Skegness through the sun hols, I never payed for linen and theyre wasn't a single duvet or pillow so ended up paying on site which worked out a bit cheaper then with the sun.

hi, i never pay for linen and i have been on a number of sun holidays. There has always been pillows and duvets. We have been lucky on a number of occasions when beds are made up already

Thank you everyone for your answers - very helpful. We will take our own sheets, covers and towels etc. as suggested by all of you.

We just returned from our holidays and and as some of you said - we had all the linen provided (even though we didn't pay for it) - presumably because the housekeeping staff don't know 100% which rooms have paid for it and which haven't - so they just change it irrespective.

Worked out brilliantly and had a good time too - thanks again for your help.
