I am planning to go to London 11th Dec for 4 nights, could any one advise me of any nicely priced hotels for these dates. They all seem way over priced i tried the travelodge etc... no joy. If any one knows of any deals on hotels or even tourist attractions that would be much appreciated. Going to be very expensive starting to wish hadnt booked my flights.

Have you tried Very good site and can list based on location etc.

Just checked Travelodge for can get the Docklands for a total of £230 for the four nights in a twin room. If it's a family room you need then you can get the London City airport for £208 for the four nights. Both are on the London Docks light railway....having stayed at Docklands it's opposite the station and there are stacks of buses as well to take you into central London if needed.

Are you travelling alone? What's the minimum standard you're after?

On the whole, London is expensive, but there are cheaper options and the credit crunch means there are quite a lot of special offers.
