    London NYE help?

Need some help from the people in the south

We have travelled from the North East of England to watch the London NYE fireworks only to find out we need tickets.

Can anyone help us out? We need 2 tickets and are staying close to kings cross.

    Thanks in advance

a search shows they are sold out, looks like you'll have to watch from further away somewhere
this site suggests Cannon street as a free alternative + a few other very pricey locations

Were on sale from December 1st, so I'd imagine it's another toutting opportunity. Any on viagogo or getmein?

or you could try ebay if someone is selling local to you

Thanks for all the comments. I've contacted a few people on Gumtree with no luck as of yet.

I'll keep looking. Failing that I'll try and find a free place

    Thanks

We watched from Waterloo bridge last year, but I think Lambeth should give you a better view - if you can get on it.

    Wrap up warm!!!

I'd find a warm pub with BBC one on mute

We tried in 2011. There were so many people the roads and paths were one way with the number of people. Barriers were moved to stop start the people and that was at 10p and a good way from the action. No toilets and pouring with rain. We got out at 11pm and headed back to a flat in Dulwich we borrowed from a friend who was away. Just try and prepare the best you can and be warned. Thousands of people go watch and try get to a good spot around 10pm..

Don't be afraid to climb trees walls statues etc that's what everyone was doing last year but be warned we left like 30 secs after the fireworks and it took us 3 hours to get to the tube because of the crowds

We watched on victoria embankment which was a decent side on view but this is the route we had to take due to one way and amount of people plus only 2 stations open after 11.

they're selling them at 750% of the price on gumtree!
boris should cancel the tickets but instead he's probably toasting their industrious nature

Try contacting this person who just left a post on the site Jazzjasveer. They selling four tickets to see fireworks.
