I had searched for Megabus tickets earlier & it came to 20£ return.
Tried National Express & it was roughly the same (about 19£ return)
Train is coming to 80£ return..

But I will try what kippy has said: looking for the National express & Daily Mirror deal.

    Will keep you posted..

try ]www.crosscountrytrains.co.uk and look for singles

crosscountrytrains is coming to about 140£ return

tis is probably coz it's nearer your travel date and weekend as well, the cheapest seems to be travelling around friday midnight/offpeak (weekday). does it work out better/faster to travel overnight or say thursday night? hope u have a mate there to pick u up.

    tbh
    1. train if you can afford it, singles x 2 sometimes work out cheaper than return.
    2. coach if you need to get there cheap and cheery. £19 is nothing, if i HAD to take a mini cab from work to my home (less than 2 miles away!) it costs £7 one way!
