London Underground - ADVICE OR HELP NEEDED PLEASE!

I'm hoping somebody can help, my family and I are travelling from Birmingham to London next week to watch the Lion King at the theatre. Train fares seem fairly high because its so near to the date. Would it be worth us travelling by car and parking at the farmost tube station and buying a day ticket to use on the underground do you think?

Any suggestions on the best place to park? Any help would be very much appreciated

You are very kind - thank you very much, at least i know where to start now!

use www.tfl.gov.uk it will show you journeys by bus and train in london and also prices, would give you a good idea of all the other options.

id have a look at the Theatre Monkey guide on how to get there if you stick with the tube
