ok im guessing your other half is a supervisor but has been paid a normal amount?

by supervisor do you mean one step below mangers/training to be manager?

not sure if this helps any hun, but when i worked for Stakis as a manager i got a higher rate then my supervisors and restaurant staff, i got 8% supervisors got 6% and restaurant staff got 2%
i think its the same with my hubby who works on the railway he gets a tiny bit more then the new starts when i say tiny i mean pennies

I would guess he doesn't want anyone to know he's stepping down yet, not wanting your company to know stuff is the usual reason people ask elsewhere rather than going through hr

I should imagine if the amount is different,he would be paid supervisor bonus rate up until the point he stepped down and the remaining period at the lower rate. Certainly in asda this was the case for managers who occasionally dropped down the ladder for whatever reason, they would still be paid managers bonus for the portion of time they performed managerial duties.
