Looking for a book to go with bug catcher for a 4 year old?

    Hi all.

I am buying my 4yo son a bug catcher/magnifying thingy for the garden and am looking for a book to go with it.

I want one that will have a page on each of the usual creatures we can expect to find so that we can identify the bugs and will hopefully list some info about each one.

Been looking on Amazon but I don't want to risk buying one that doesn't have what I want in it.

So, can anyone recommend a particular book they have used or know of?

    Thanks!

My son has one, but can not find it anywhere in the pit that is his room. Sorry. :-(

Now, why does that scenario sound familiar? :giggle:

I'd try somewhere like the works (if there's one near you!) I always bought loads of educational books for my older sister. :O (she's a teacher)
I'm sure they'll have books on creepy crawlys / bugs.

I went on a bug hunting trip last year with our Infant School -urgh I did find out what the difference between a centipede & a millipede was & that one bites ;-)

They are normally called mini beasts for that age group, I haven't compared prices but this sort of thing is great for that age group >

Thanks, but I don't have a Works anywhere near me - really just wanting to order off the net to save me a journey, that's why I need a recommendation
