pure quality, use this one in work at present and its a killer

Assuming you're going for a compact - Panasonic are pretty much at the top in that price bracket.

I've found my TZ7 to be poor in low light however - you need to muck about with the settings to get it to perform in gig conditions - big thread on av forums about it.

12 x optical zoom sounds good. Anyone got an opinion on the olympus pen?

never used olympus, had a nikon coolpix and there all talk, my samsung phone takes better photos that it. If you read the instructions you will be able to get class pics on a panasonic as there is different settings for indoor/outdoor and sport and all but you can change settings to make weird and wonderful pictures if you have time. The nikon was only good at picking up detailed sound really, should have been in the spy market.

BestBuy have the blue and silver TZ10 for £216.00 (home delivery) less 10% Quidco and £30.00 Panasonic cashback works out around 165

This has just caught my eye... Im not good at deciding FujiFilm Finepix F300EXR Digital Camera - 12MP - 15x Optical Zoom

Canon PowerShot SX210 IS Digital Camera - Black (14.1 MP, 14x Optical Zoom) 3.0 Inch PureColor LCD
£182 plus cashback from Canon

If you want something really decent with a great zoom you could go for the Fuji HS10. Their Factory Refurbished ones are selling at £229.99 but there is a code knocking about which takes £30 off so you get it for £199.99 (a true bargain IMO)
Comes with a years warranty and you can extend that by another 2 years for under £50 if you wish.

If your preference is a compact digital I've got one for sale if you're interested.

Do u think they would let me into a concert with that beast.. I mean the camera lol

If you're interrested in a compact zoom camera dpreview ran a comparative review of compact 'travel' zooms (TZ10 etc). dpreview.com/rev…om/ might be worth looking at; the Samsung WB650 came joint top - that has a 15x (24-360mm equiv ) zoom; but I don't think any of these are especially good in low-light.
