best bet would be ebay/gumtree etc as lots of people buy them and then never use them great bargains to be had

Thanks for that, its just that most people want it collected and that would be a problem, also want one with a warranty because you never know what state the motor is in.

actually the cheapest models are under £200 for a motorised treadmill, like this one, so ABOUT £300 isn't actually the cheapest model as there are some available form argos between £300 and £350 but since im not sure about the specs, and thought if someone could advice me on other sites where i can get a treadmills, that would give me more choice. I'm sorry that by looking for decent treadmill for ABOUT £300 i have offended you, but if you have nothing to contribute to my thread, then why bother posting! also i'm looking for a deal, or do you not get the concept of this site?

Might as well put the 300 quid into a gym membership which will allow you to get the benefit of using weights as well as different machines for cardio.

Thanks but i did that once, and ended up only going about once a month lol, just don't have the motivation for it, plus this way the whole family can use it.

Hi im not sure if your intrested but my mother might be getting rid of hers. Its had minium use from her! I think the company who it was purchased from offers a long warrenty on the moter (5+ i think) but i can find out and let you know.

It was purchased from Ebay about 2/3 years ago for roughly £600. Its goes up to 16km speed. Has built in speakers and fan. Pretty sturdy and heavy - so i guess the collection part will be an issue. However im in Coventry if that helps at all.

If you can't be motivated for gym you'll probs find it difficult to motivate for a run. Ok at first you will probably be using it lots, but then it will just sit there staring at you, and you'll say nah I'll give it a miss tonight...which will turn into a spiral of neglect...and then you will be using it as a clothes horse lol

OP is looking for a deal! Agree with what you've said.

Haha I know I'm techbically going off topic just giving my opinion though that the novelty of exercising at home will just wear off

    I was kidding. :-)

Novelty does wear off, hubby was running every evening when it was new, now he has totally forgotten it and the thing takes space!

Ideal leisure had some pretty good ones when we went to look a few weeks ago - saw them on Ebay.
Direct link here and I think they deliver - The owner was very knowledgeable and seemed accommodating.

Sorry it looks like they don't deliver - ok if you live close to them?
