i had a lexmark, that was rubbish.
Now got a HP, it really doesnt like vista, plus the drivers are not available via the HP website (not to mention the 15 minutes it takes to install the disc).

second that, Canon is the best of both worlds, epson image quality, and HP's laser sharp text.

Be careful with the inks tho, canon uses a print head that does not get replaced (like epson) so try not to use refills!

Ink for canon is cheap enuf tho lol!

epson RX585 (£85) or RX685(£99) (both @ amazon)

both use the same ink

all 6 ink's for £7.99 @ www.ukdvdr.co.uk

mono or colour.

a laser printer will save you a fortune in the long run. Mine cost £47 and can print 10,000 pages from one cartridge. My old lexmark printed about 50!

if you are wanting a realy cheap printer then thats the one

but it only has 4 inks so color/photo printing wont be as good
you will replace the ink less with a 6 ink printer
you also dont get a CD printing tray (i find this very useful)

all the best
