Looking for a Printer to print on CDs....

Hey all.... as a dj i need a new printer to print on my blank cds.... since now i have been writing on them which isnt all that good... i hear epson is quite good for these printers but they cost a bomb

i dont really want to spend alot.. i got the printable cds already... anyone have any ideas???

    many thanks for reading!

I use an Epson R200. Works really well. You might be able to pick one up on Ebay?

yeah, i've got an R300 that i've had for ages...good wee printer and should be well cheap on ebay now!

hey , not sure about epsom printers, but i have a HP photosmart c5280, and it prints directly onto the cds, and the quality is really good and to get ink for the printer is cheap gunuine inks are about £10 to £12 for black and £12 to £14 on amazon, ink number hp350 and Hp351 so its preety cheap to run and a colour cartridge prints about 250 cd's before the colour starts to run out.

There might be a newer model now, but mine does the job, also its a scanner and photocopier and has an LCD screen and card reader and PICT bridge. also photo prints are very good.…wAg

    hope this helps

i have an epson rx560 and that prints on disc really well and cartridges are cheap for compatibles:thumbsup:

I've had an Epson R200 and currently a R265. 3rd party carts are pretty cheap and if you're up to fitting a CISS then printing is almost free...

    Here is my setup: ]http//pg…tml
