    how much is it?
the one i have found is 500w and my gfx card requires 450w i think. the one i have now is 400w but its not true power as its just a cheap one it overheats and everything

Corsair make great power supplies. This one comes very highly recommended and is extremely quiet. 5 yr warranty + triple rail

Dont try to save a few quid on getting a cheap power supply

ok lots of good advice, all i keep hearing is how good corsair is so im swaying in that direction at the moment. would the 450w be enough considering my gfx card says on the box 450w, would it be better with more power.

    also liking the coolmaster one

go for the corsair, its a rebranded seasonic which are one of the best brands of psus for pcs trust the reviews the psu is rock solid if u can afford it go for the 520watt one which leaves u a bit of room to play with
ps do not go with hiper, mine blew up which is a well known problem with these hipers

Tay - for what you have the 450 should be sufficient especially if youre not overclocking

I suggested the 520 as you could always use the 520 in your next system + it gives you the added advantage of being a triple rail power supply

To be on the safe side, since you havent fully set out your system specs, I suggest you go here and fill in the info to make sure the 450w works for you but Im pretty certain it will be more than enough
