Looking for an Office PC

Found 2nd Feb
Hey up all.

I'm looking to buy an office PC for someone who just basically surfs and does email and office type stuff, i keep looking on the Dell outlet but just wondered if there was anywhere else worth keeping an eye on for good deals.

I don't want to build a system for them as I become the support provider and I really dont have time to support them like that, hence thinking dell might be a good option.

Any advice appreciated.

Cheers

I'd look at Used ex-Corp Optiplex 790 SFF from ebay. £100ish will buy you one with i5, 4gb Ram and 250Gb+ HDD.

Go on for ever, perfect for basic Office/Browsing
Thinkpad x230 and the dock for x230, its a laptop but brilliant as a desktop pc, can get a third gen i5, ssd and 8gb ram for 200£, solid machines last for years and always have that portability if you need to take it to another room, I despise desktops as I get annoyed when i want to show a colleguage or friend somthing in another room but can't
Ebay for an ex corporate desktop. Cheap as chips.
Thanks all
