Hey all

I’m an absolute noob on diy, but the wife is bugging me to start putting up shelves and photo frames whilst in lockdown, and I can’t get out of it .

Could anyone recommend an electric drill around £50 I will be very grateful

Thanks in advance

For just shelves and photo frames a cheapo hammer drill like this one for £15 will easily do what you want argos.co.uk/pro…6:1
Also spend a few £ on a pipe and cable detector so you dont end up drilling through a hidden pipe or electrical cable.

You'll also obviously need a suitable sized masonry drill bit and rawl plugs to screw into that are suitable for your wall construction It'll more likely be plaster board or solid plaster over bricks, give your wall a tap in a few places and if it sounds hollow you have plasterboard.

Yeah it’s mainly plasterboard not into brick
Another reason im happy single not putting shelves up for anyone
