Looking for recommendations for hotels in sharm el sheik

Me and my Gf are going to Sharm in mid september, looking for a nice hotel to stay in All inclusive.

Budget isnt fixed but it would say below £700 pp would be fab.

Anyone got any recommendations? A lot seem to be hit or miss, some great reviews some terrible.

shouldnt it depend on where abouts you wanna be and what your travel plans are once you get there?
get one near that will be most comfortable for you to go around the places you wish to travel to

Try trip advisor.AS well as reviews they list hotels in order of what they are rated ie you could see which are in top 20 or so and go from there

Mate you will have a great time over there. I went last year for two weeks and that wasnt long enough :-D

We didnt actually stay in Sharm but instead a place not to far away called Sharks bay. It was a hilton and was great, nice staff, good food, lots of entertainment.

We found that when we went to sharm it was very busy and always go go go. So not being centered in it worked well.

Would also say quad biking in the desert is a must, absolutly had a ball. We got two weeks in this Hilton all inclusive with flights for just over £700 each. :santa:

been there , done that - carry your snorkle for all the beutiful fish and coral in the most clearest seas Ive seen !!!!

Try tripadvisor , but any 4 star hotel should be ok especially for 700 pp - thats alot and will get you a tiptop hotel in sharm!! You'll be spoilt for choice !

    have fun !!!!

Don't go to Sharm El Shiekh! That's my advice... it's like an egyptian blackpool!

Thanks for the info guys. I will take a look at the ones mentioned.
Am i right in saying location isnt a big deal? Most will be in the same area?
Regarding an egyption blackpool, i am not expecting much culture in sharm, just a nice relaxing week by the pool.

Hehe, well we plan to go back to egypt again in the future to see giza and maybe hop over to petra or something but for now i need beach and pool :-D

We stayed at the Renaissance Golden View Beach - it was decent, but certainly not 5* - beware of the star ratings over there - that and the taxi drivers!

The Ritz Carlton was next door to ours, was very nice indeed, although a 15 minute taxi ride into Naama Bay.

the intercontinental is a cracking hotel. naama bay is a bit blackpooly to be fair. Hurghada is nicer now with the new town and the marina, try the marriot, about £400 and loads to do in both resorts.

me and the missus went to the holiday village red sea in january and had a great time. It was quiet, the odd kid here and there but it was fine. im not sure what it will be like in september but we had a wahale of a time.

here is the link to my review on tripadvisor
