ok guys n gals, i've been subscribing to free lovefilm trials for well over a year now but i think they may be starting to catch on with what us devious lot are like. signed up again with a new name and email and have now got an email stating they're looking into my account and on the main page is written:

You appear to be ineligible for a free trial

This is usually because somebody from your household has already had a trial from a service powered by LOVEFiLM.

You will shortly receive an email with instructions about what your options are. If you do not, please contact Customer Services for help in activating your subscription.

This happened to me about 9 months ago, now I do the postcode thing :thumbsup:

Go on Multimap.com and keep trying postcodes with just one digit different from yours until you find one that doesn't exist - then you manually input the rest of your address correctly

What's about the postcode when I enter the credit card for payment? Does this same as the provided 'wrongly' postcode or my actual postcode for the credit card?

When inputting your adress manually do i keep my postcode the wrong one but put the correct address in? Also does this not stop your credit card from being used?

I put correct postcode in for my credit card details, but "incorrect" one at the first postal address - tried it tonight & got "free 3 month trial is activated" email back, so will wait & see if it works OK
btw, you cancel before the end so credit card payment isn't taken

Rejoin - enter a fictional postcode.
Manually enter correct postcode.
Set-up DD with normal postcode.

I think you need to enter an incorrect postcode. Then manually enter your address WITH the incorrect postcode.

It means your account will have a postcode that is 1 letter out but your discs will still get to you.

I signed up last night and put /2 after my house number. Account opened fine but got rejected this morning.

Does anyone know if you are ok to change the postcode to the correct one a week or so in to the trial?
