    Low light camera

Can anyone recommend a sub £200 compact camera which is good in low light conditions?

Search on google with csc with biggest pixle size of sensor.....bigger the pixel size of sensor better the low light

What is it you want to photograph in low light?

If it's in situations where you can use a tripod and a slow shutter speed then there may be some choice.
If it's friends and family at a party, then you will struggle at that budget unless you just want average snaps using a
flash; in which case, don't feel you need to use your whole budget. Again, depending on your need and expectations, your camera phone may be adequate.

For low light ideally you need a wide aperture (low f stop) and / a largish sensor. If you want quality pictures, save a bit more and go for the Sony DSCRX100 mk1. There are mks 2-4 also now, but the mk1 is still a great camera for the price.

It's mainly for parties - both outdoors at night & indoors and gigs, also a little night / twilight wildlife photography.

I own an Xperia Z3 phone and Samsung WB750 camera at the moment, neither of which are particularly good in low light. I do like the look of DSCRX100 but don't really want to spend £300+
