LVT flooring and skirting boards gap advice

Posted 26th Aug 2021
Hi I decided to put on LVT flooring downstairs and then afterwards the wood guy came and did the skirting on top. There seems to be a slight gap at the bottom. I don’t think the wood guy did a great job. I didn’t want to put any beading and wanted a flush finish. I know at the top of the skirting you can put decorators caulk but not sure what I can do with the bottom?
Can anyone suggest anything?

There is a gap if you zoom in as the white tape is masking tape as still need to paint the skirting.
