cool anything in particular?

no just all the main landmarks ..... but might be colder in nov. get one of those travel guides and plan ur itenary?

read angels and demons by dan brown and then seek out some of the sights

i loved castelo st angelo, the pantheon, the hustle and bustle of trevi fountain and spanish steps - as said above, just walk and see what you come across - lovely city

Go to the vatican. Pictures cannot do it justice!

Yes, do the usual tourist trail. Colloseo, Forum, St.Peter's and Vatican.
I'm not much enamoured of the Spanish Steps area - too many budget tourists. Trevi fountain is scaffolding free now I think. You can easily walk everywhere, like MB says, although it's a bit af a hike over the river to see the pope!!
If you get a chance to do a day trip go to Tivoli villa d'Este and Villa Adriana.
Restaurants are over-priced and pot luck with service - you'd be better IMO to eat at a pizzeria.

The weather should be nice in November and hopefully tourists down to just chaotic!!
