M & S Misleading Advert online can I ask them to honour it

If you do a search for KDL40W4000 on live.com, M&S throws up and advert saying all 40" Bravia's are offerd with a sony Blue ray player, when you click the link it takes you to M & S Bravia page but there's no offer for the sam BRay player, I've called em and those idiots haven't got a clue what I'm talking about.

I think I've the right to ask them to give what they have promised on the net, this ad is going on for at least a month, may be they've forgot to taken it off after the offer is gone, but is it something I can take it up with them....please advise

You can ask them, but they aren't obliged to do it if theres been a mistake on their part.

I've taken it all the way to checkout and given my card details as well, but I'm still being charged for both the tv and player. Am I doing something wroing. even the FREEDAY promo code which currently valid is not honoured. I'm really getting mad....any suggestions mate...

It only applies to "E" series Tv's, the one you are trying to order is a "W" series. Sorry!

But thanks for the heads up, it does look a good deal. Although the website doesn't seem to explain the difference and why one is £850 and the other is £1100!
