I was recently looking to buy a Macbook but they are too expensive in the UK. I looked on ebay.com and they are alot cheaper. I got a Macbook OS Leapord 120GB hard drive,2GB ram,2Ghz whatever you call it. Ended up costing £550 including postage.

Any questions ask

Dont think this can be classed as a deal as no seller mentioned, I think it was more of an observation of how we in britain get ripped off!

After all how many times have people asked for advice RE : couriers and been pointed towards ebay and specific ebay traders recommended?

looks like spam to me,also there is no macbook with 2gb ram out of the box only the pros

Just get a refurb one direct from Apple UK for about £600 with 1 year apple warranty. i did just before xmas

what sort of condition was the refurb one? thinking about a refurb pro?

2 of my iPods have been 'refurbs' and you wouldn't know unless you were told.

As for macbooks being cheaper on eBay, yes - but not necessarily new, maybe even the refurbs from apple. I would buy direct from Apple every time though

Title changed to be more reflective of contents.

As good as new mate.

The only way you can tell they are refurb is the fact they come in a brown box, rather the the box they come in when you purchase new
