    Madame Tussauds, London

    Hi,
I was wondering whether anyone knew of any decent discounts for Madame Tussauds? My family are going to be in London this Saturday (23rd) and I thought I might treat the kids. We're visiting my mum in hospital so I thought I could try and cheer the kids up afterwards.

Sorry, don't know of any discount codes but just thought that I would add that our kids hated it there. We went last summer with our Annual Passes, so it didn't cost a penny (as we used Tesco Clubcard points) and at the time the older ones were 11 and 10. We could have gone in again and again had we so wished with the passes for free, but the kids really did not like it at all one bit (even though we didn't have to wait in the ridiculously long queue that there always is there as we were fast tracked in).

I'm sure millions of people do enjoy it there, but I would say if you were taking them somewhere in London for a treat, pop on the London Eye instead, they'll love it!

The queues to get into Madame Tussauds are usually HUGE.

If you can then try to buy tickets in advance and you jump the queues.

If you own an Oyster card they're doing 2 for 1, but you have to buy your ticket on the day which means queing.

Ring this number 0870 220 4000 and tell them the discount code NHS Discounts and the following discount should be received.

    Gate Rate Corporate Discount Rate
    Adults (16+) £25.00 £18.00
    Child (5-15) £21.00 £14:40
    Child U5 FREE FREE

    Hope this helps

    * Pricing will vary dependent on date and time of visit. Please check at time of booking.

I suggest you can go for 2 for 1 price. you can get 2 for 1 voucher at king cross station or alternatively u can do it online and print it out.

I'm not sure the voucher is available in other stations.

Many thanks for all your suggestions. I'm not sure if we will go after all if it really is busy and you have to queue - that's the last thing I'll want to do. The London Eye has been done, so maybe some simple retail therapy would do the trick (2 teenage girls=shopping)!

try the london aquarium next to the London eye definately worth a visit. If you book online 24 hours in advance you will get up to 25% off admission price.

2 for 1 at the zoo from ]here. Loads of other 2 for 1's on that website too. I think you have to be traveling by train to qualify though.
