Making some side money

Afternoon All,

I was just wondering how some of you make any additional income to your full time job.

I have a lot of free time in the evenings so i want to start doing something to keep myself busy and make a bit of cash.

I've looked into websites like odesk.com and i read something on here a while back about a website for investing money where you buy and sell comodaties/shares...cant remember what it was.

But I was just interested to see what people do...if anything!

"additional income to your full time jobs" oO

talking generally to a group of people he is assuming that each have a job so therefore there are 'jobs'

seeing as this is hukd though it is bad grammar to pluralise job as most people on here are benefit scroungers and therefore don't work

Take up a sport , go to college
I begun a mandarin language course which finished part of the way through this year
..local college ..was cheap £135 for almost 9 months thoroughly enjoyed it .
a similar course at SOAS I believe costs about £8000 for the year!
I'm always looking for ways to keep occupied.... martial arts , stunt/trials biking, power-kiting on land , the theatre & i manage to fit these in at the end of a working day / day off in a busy practice.
I'm 43 by the way !

I used to play a quite a bit of sports but due to a back injury thats all come to a stop!

I wish it was soo easy to find a new job, but the fact is there just isnt much out there these days and my current job pays quite well. Then going to college will mean more expenses which is something i dont really want right now. So im just looking for something i can do from home for a while...mainly to keep myself busy rather than sitting on the ps3 most evenings.

My long term aim is to change jobs...well change careers...im just bored of my career...but the job market is quite competitive right now...so I wont stand a chance when applying for a job thats not in my field when competing against experienced candidates.

Thanks for your help.....

Why cant people leave sensible answers, it was a genuine question with stupid remarks, how childish.

no problem mate. best of luck for your future career.

I used to sell DS cards to friends, family, friends of friends etc.
Then they were made illegal in the UK, and I could either capitalise and make even more money, or give it up.

All my friends come to me whenever they want Game consoles, or games, and I always know where to get them from, so usually order them, and get a few pence in cashback etc, or take advantage of a price crash if it is a pre-order.

It isn't a lot of money, but you'd be surprised how it all adds up.

I always feel bad about making money of friends...Like i've bought some games from here for mates and could have charged them extra to make a few quid..but never did...maybe i need to change my way of thinking....and starting making a few pounds here and there!

Collect empty ink catridges and sell them in Ebay, some people throw them away. Leave a collection box in offices around the local area, then sell them. Its worth a thought.

There's quite a good market in the Yemen for them atm.

Go down all the rubbish bins and find the Walkers rainy days packets. You might make a few quid.
