New renters in Manchester city centre are to be offered FREE travel passes to help ‘introduce’ them to the Metrolink.
Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) has teamed up with Moda Living, the developer behind Angel Gardens, a glitzy new build-to-rent tower block set to open in October.
Moda’s managing director says it will allow ‘those who live in the city centre to ‘easily commute’ to MediaCity, Manchester Airport, Altrincham and Didsbury. Scheme says it aims to increase public transport use, but has been criticised at a time when working class Mancunians face ‘increasing costs’.
