Maplins have sent me the wrong OS, what shall I do?

Bought an MSI Wind u100 from Maplins last week, specifically as it had Windows XP rather than the basic version of Windows 7. But they put Windows 7 on there by accident, should I send it back and get one with the OS that I wanted or is Windows 7 better and I should learn to love it as it's worth more?

You could buy the W7 Upgrade from Starter to Home Premium. The last time I was in Tesco, it was £30.

I'd say your better off with win 7

got xp on msi laptop, vista on desktop and windows 7 on new laptop , and got to say i like windows 7 up to know , not fussed on vista but ok, and xp is a winner with a lot of people tbh , but i say as long as lappy can handle it then give windows 7 a shot (_;)

Windows 7 gets my vote.

xp in pc time pre-dates dinosaurs...!!!

Well we used it last night, and although starter is missing features from the full version if you didn't know, it felt the same as XP.

Haven't Microsoft removed support for XP as well recently?

I personally don't like windows 7 starter, find it to restricted. Make it a hackingtosh.
