You have to win the other races to unlock them all.

The Wii has a built in memory so it saves it there. You can get another memory card to add to it but i havent had to use one and have a load of game saves on the memory..

Been following this thread as I know naff all about saving games on the Wii, and what you would use a memory card for (on the Wii).
So, wonkey, you say games are saved on the Wii? My children have managed to unlock most of the games on Mario & Sonic at Olympic Games - if they were to take this game to a friends house to play on their console then it would go back to only having a few games on? Because all the unlocked games are on our console?
Also, if you have loads of games, then you sell them and get loads more, is loads of space on the Wii's memory still taken up with the saves from all your original games? (And, if this is the case, how does one go about deleting them off the Wii's memory?)
Hope these questions make sense and someone is able to answer. Thanks.

You can go into the memory settings (from the main menu) and delete what games you no longer have saved progress on there. As for Mario and Sonic, as it isnt the console that they have been playing it on, it would start from the beginning.

Hope this helps!
