Just wondering if theres a lImit or a maximum reccomended of wireless connections being shared on a BT Home Hub.

currently on ours we have two computers, ps3, xbox, printer and an ipad.

Is this too much strain on one Home Hub or should it be fine?

Have as many connection's as you like, However obviously when all used together your speed will be affected, Not by much using all them at once unless downloading. Also depends on connection speed, if you've got above 2mb you'll probably not even notice.

Think at last check we had about 25 devices on ours and often 4 consoles and 3 laptops all connected via wireless at the same time and it copes fine - that's on the older White BT home hub too.

I have the black hub (not the latest). I have had six devices working on wireless without any problem.

Ok cool, download speed has dropped from 7MB to around 600KB. Time to ring India.

my mum has the black wireless router with BT and we had it down here to test it ( she said it wasnt working!) we had 3 laptops, 3 dsi's, wii, playstation, 2 desktops, my iphone using the net, and it was brill to be honest we could have used more on there with no slowdown in speeds on anything,
now if its an O2 router it can just about manage 2 laptops and the desktop! hate that router

I rang Mumbai last year - they said the router was caput and sent me a new free one. It's still in it's box unopened ... it was the card at the exchange needed changing. Whole event was very painful and took two weeks to sort out. Good luck

I think (going back to my training) a router can assign 254 ip addresses minus the 1 for itself so you can have 253 devices connected.
