It's almost that time again, folks. Star Wars day is coming up and we've already started to see some of the offers for May the fourth. In fact, some promotions are going live before, such as the Lego VIP offers, that you'll see below.
We usually get a lot of really nice offers posted on site, so I wanted to create something that highlights some of the information we know so far, as well as upcoming and existing deals.
Which retailers may be taking part?Going by what we saw last year, we will likely see a fair few retailers getting involved in the event. Here are just a few that we think are likely to run promotions for Star Wars day:
There will likely be a few more, which I can add in as and when they crop up
What is Star Wars Day?Well, it's a day set aside to celebrate everything Star Wars, from the classic movies to the new, from the TV shows to toys and games. If it's Star Wars, it counts
The event officially started being celebrated back in 2011, although there were celebrations before this date, it just wasn't as we know it today. The only date to place this event. that really makes sense is May the fourth!
Do I need to say why this date? Just in case... It's a play on words from the memorable line in the first Star Wars Movie "May the force be with you" It just works, right?
We're likely going to see a lot of deals posted here on hotukdeals. If you want to just skip ahead and see all the posted Star Wars offers in general (Not just for the big day) Then you can see them all right
HERE

Deals here will be updated as more and more come in. We're obviously more likely to see many more than we currently have on the big day itself, so hang in there and hopefully we'll see even stronger price points!
We'll kick off with LEGO Shop! This has been posted by
lego_images on the forums already, so full credit for that, thank you!

yep...and Star wars is so dead in the water
The Hasbro eBay store is good for Star Wars stuff too: ebay.co.uk/str…puk (edited)
They are old games so might work.
You can always get a refund if they don't.
Surely kotor will run on just about anything. This is an old game.
FM pretty CPU intensive - pretty sure both these will run on min spec machines
My brain never makes the connection between the saying and American date structure. Then again lots of other countries put dates in usual ways. If you search for anything in Korea that day it'd be 220504 you'd put into Google.
That way actually (descending starting from year) makes more sense to me than the American one of month, day, year.
May the 4th be with you all
It's animation, but it's a Disney+ original so...
If you want to be REALLY picky, then Star Wars: The Clone Wars Final Season (Season 7) should be specifically mentioned as a Disney+ original as well
Absolutely! There's:
May 4th
May October 4th
and
May April 4th

I'd kill to play these again, my laptop is very poor though, can barely manage fm
Hmmmmmm.
Well, maybe they are referring to the other similar holidays, like the Revenge of the Sixth (of May)
And it'll drag on like a cold sore.
I think they do this at Legoland Windsor. They used to pre COVID. The space centre at Leicester also used to do a great day where there would be the characters and some stars from the original films.
Update: I just checked - Legoland have removed the permanent Star Wars exhibition and thus don't do Star Wars Day anymore! Such a shame. I also looked on the National Space Centre website and they don't seem to have it listed. It used to be called Return of the Garrison, as I think that was the name of the costume group they used (who were awesome). Thus, maybe check their website. I can highly recommend. My kids loved it and there were plenty of adults there too. (edited)
